In 2022 i was asked to work with the WallThreeWords project to help celebrate the 1900th anniversary of Hadrian’s Wall. Part of the year long festival included a project to mesh the what3words app with poetry and art, a genius idea from the mind of Maureen Lawrie, to celebrate the section of the Wall from Lanercost to Birdoswald.

The result was a hectic 6 weeks of creative writing classes, delivered by yours truly, involving all ages and creative styles. A film was commissioned along with a piece of poetry. We managed to get both featured on ITV Border and BBC Radio Cumbria. We created a love poem to the Wall.
